Meet the kayaking team

Our kayaking team is here to offer you a great experience and share the beauty of the island with you. We’re also quite good at having fun and as locals we combine entertainment with interesting stories about Skopelos past. In addition to your safety, we offer you information about every area we are going to visit. Each region beside the natural beauty has a long history from the old days and especially from the pirate era. There are real facts but also traditional legends that our grandparents cared for keeping alive with the passage of centuries and we are willing to narrate them to you. This is also the main reason why Kayaking Greece has its base on this island.

Lampros

Lampros was born and raised in Skopelos and he dealt with the sea from an early age. He graduated from the Marine Academy and was a captain on ship. Then graduated from the Navy School and worked for 9 years as a captain Officer at Hellenic Coast Guard. He also has scuba diving diplomas, high-speed operator license and open sea sailing diploma. Finally for two years he was a Rescuer in the Hellenic Rescue Team sea branch.

His passion for the kayaking and the place he grew up made him return to the island and now is the owner of the Kayaking Greece.

Is the main guide to every trip knowing all the beautiful parts of the island.

He holds;

BCU 3 star sea kayaking
Lifeguard certification
First aid, Emegercy First Responce at Sea, TFR and BLS/AED trained

Raluca

Raluca was born in Romania and in the last 15 years lives in Greece. All of her life was in to sports and works as a personal trainer. Through the water sports, she learned the sea kayak which captivated her and became the soul of Kayaking Greece. She loves exploring and discover new lonely and unspoiled beaches.

She is the owner, the main guide of trips and the person who will answer when you contact Kayaking Greece.

First aid and BLS/AED trained

Guides 2025

Kayaking Greece Skopelos is looking for kayaking guides for the summer of 2025.

If you are an outdoor person with some experience in kayaking and you speak good English, then the blue-green water of Skopelos is the best place to be.
