Likes to think he is the boss of the kayaking team just because it was his idea to set the business up!
Born in a small town just north of Birmingham shortly before the 1970’s. Neil grew up listening to some of the best music ever written, still evident in his dress sense!
After a short time working in a local supermarket Neil joined the Fire Service where he worked for 18 years. He served at a variety of stations in Staffordshire, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Walsall.
Before moving to Greece his sporting passions were cycling and generally being outdoors.
A good amateur cyclist Neil became the British Fire Services road race champion in 2000, and also rode some of the biggest cycle races in the UK, including the Elite Mens National road race championships.
He is also a bit of a sailor holding the Royal Yachting Association’s Yachtmaster award.
Now most of his time is spent messing about in kayaks.
In 2017 Neil completed the 125 mile Devises to Westminster canoe race in K1 over 4 days in a time of 17:57:37, finishing 11th out of 82 and winning the over 35s age group.
